Minor injuries were reported Feb. 12 following a school bus crash on Union Street. The crash happened at about 4 p.m. on Union Street extended near Cedar Creek Road, said Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe of the Delaware State Police.
Wilmington police are investigating a shooting from 2:15 a.m. Police still were in the 2100 block of N. Pine Street, where the shooting occurred, by 6 a.m. A home in that block was cordoned off with police tape and officers stood nearby.
A Lincoln man faces charges in connection with stealing more than $17,000 in items. While investigating a series of burglaries, police developed Michael A. Cole, 36, as a suspect after a Jan. 1 burglary of King’s Tire and Lube in Milford in which he stole more than $5,000 in tires, said Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe of the Delaware State Police.

An 18-year-old who walked into Wilmington Hospital's emergency room after he was shot several times has died of his injuries. Zahviaire Berry-Shivers was driven to the hospital in a private car Friday afternoon after he was shot on North Pine Street, Wilmington police said.

Delaware State Police said the man, who hasn't been identified yet pending notification of next of kin, was driving his 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle eastbound Route 71 (Red Lion Road) when he lost control of his bike while turning onto northbound Route 7
52 year-old Kevin J. Dyton of the 1600 block of W. 4th street has been arrested and charged with murder after police say they found him hiding out in the 200 block of N. Dupont Street where a blood trail from the 1600 block of W 4th street led them there.
