A shooting remains under investigation after troopers say a bullet went through a home in Seaford. Delaware State Police say on Wednesday, around 11;35 PM, troopers responded to a residence in the 24000 block of Clench jean Lane for a report of shots fired. Once on scene, troopers say a 67-year-old woman reported that she heard a loud noise while she was in her living room.

Wilmington fire crews battled a fire at a vacant building Tuesday morning, said an official with the Wilmington Police Department. The fire, in the 1600 block of W. 4th St., was reported just after 6:45 a.m., an official said.

Dover police said two men carjacked a taxi driver early Sunday morning. The 50-year-old driver picked the men up in the area of River Road just south of 400 Court Street, the address for Kent County Family Court, police said. The cab proceeded onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and then onto DuPont Highway, police said.

A fire Monday afternoon claimed the life of one person inside a residential storage building in Frederica, according to the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office. The Frederica Volunteer Fire Company was called about 1:30 p.m. to the first block of Saint Agnes Street in Frederica only to find the storage building behind the home "engulfed in flames," said Assistant State Fire Marshal Michael Chionchio.

Accidental Glasgow fire causes $200,000 in damage
A 19-year-old man is facing charges he was illegally operating an all-terrain vehicle near New Castle over the weekend, police said. An officer was dispatched to Simonds Gardens Friday for a complaint of ATVs riding in the community's parkland. When the officer arrived, he saw a person riding on an ATV, said Master Cpl. Michel Eckerd, a New Castle County police spokesman.

A Rehoboth Beach man and a Lewes man face charges in connection with a Dec. 7 robbery of the Valero Gas Station in Milton. Christian S. Ferry, 23, of Rehoboth Beach and Michael N.
